Stacie’s Journey to Empowerment Through Entrepreneurship

When you think of cleaning services, you might picture a team scrubbing floors or checking off a to-do list. But for Stacie, owner of Cheyenne Mountain Cleaning Services, her work is much deeper than that. Her business represents freedom, intention, and peace—not just for her clients, but for herself.

Within minutes of sitting down with Stacie, I learned that she is a survivor of domestic violence. Though many years have passed, like so many women who’ve experienced trauma, she still lives with the triggers and emotional residue of that chapter.

“I was nervous to share that part of me at first. But I’ve learned it doesn’t define me—it shaped my strength,” she said.

Stacie didn’t start her business to escape she started it to build a life where she could be present for her children, take pride in her work, and move through each day on her own terms.

This is exactly what Boss Babe Networking stands for: supporting women, especially survivors, as they step into leadership, confidence, and financial freedom.

A Business Built on Purpose

With a background in journalism and elementary education, Stacie spent years raising her children and caring for her family. When she re-entered the workforce, she knew she didn’t want to settle for something that pulled her away from her home or her values.

Entrepreneurship offered her the flexibility and control she needed. She launched Cheyenne Mountain Cleaning Services to bring elevated, luxury-level detail to homes and vacation rentals across Colorado Springs. Over time, she built a reputation for intentional service and personal connection, and recently expanded her business to include vacation rental management under her new venture, Elevated Colorado Estates.

“We’re not just cleaning—we’re creating comfort,” she says. “When people walk into our spaces, I want them to feel like they can breathe again.”

Quality with Heart

What makes Stacie’s business stand out is her unwavering commitment to excellence. She personally inspects every space before clients arrive. Her brand isn’t built on dramatic “before and after” photos—it’s built on consistency, care, and elevated simplicity.

Her attention to detail has earned her a loyal client base and even a waiting list, but more importantly, it’s allowed her to build a business she’s proud of—without compromising her time with her family.

“I didn’t want to choose between being a present mom and building something that mattered. This business lets me do both.”

Cleaning as Self-Care

Stacie believes hiring a cleaning service isn’t a luxury—it’s a form of self-preservation.

“Women are managing so much—work, home, family, emotional labor. Outsourcing your cleaning is one way to make space for yourself again,” she says.

And she’s right. For many women, the guilt tied to a messy home is overwhelming. Stacie wants to flip that narrative: let the cleaning be your secret, and let the rest of your energy go where it matters most.

The Deeper Mission: Empowering Survivors

According to the National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey, 1 in 3 women in the U.S. has experienced physical violence by an intimate partner. Even more, 99% of domestic violence survivors report experiencing some form of financial abuse—where control over money and resources becomes a tool of manipulation.

This makes financial freedom not just empowering—it’s critical.

Entrepreneurship becomes a lifeline for many survivors, offering independence, flexibility, and a path to healing. Stacie’s journey reflects this truth. Her business gave her the tools to build stability and confidence, and now, she’s showing other women what’s possible.

Aligned with the Boss Babe Mission

At Boss Babe Networking, we were built to support women just like Stacie—survivors, dreamers, and doers—who are ready to lead lives rooted in purpose, confidence, and ownership.

Whether we’re mentoring teen girls through the Boss Babe Academy, connecting women with resources through our membership, or amplifying stories through our Her Story platform, our goal is to create a community where empowerment, leadership, and business go hand in hand.

Looking Ahead

As Cheyenne Mountain Cleaning Services continues to grow, Stacie is focused on creating content that reflects her elevated brand and expanding her vacation rental services across Colorado. But more than that, she’s staying true to her original goal: creating a life where she can show up for her family, take pride in her work, and stand tall in her story.

Her journey is a reminder to every woman reading this:

You can rise. You can rebuild. And you can thrive on your own terms.
